WIC Farmers Market

Fresh Produce Available At No Cost to WIC Participants at County Health Departments.

Northeast Health District’s (NEHD) 10 county health departments will host the annual farmers markets for participants of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program.

Each farmers market will offer fresh fruits and vegetables to WIC participants. Supplies are limited, and markets operate on a first come, first served basis, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early. WIC participants, or their designated alternates, must bring their WIC ID card to take advantage of these markets. For visitors not enrolled in WIC, fresh produce can be purchased from attending vendors. NEHD’s WIC nutrition program encourages WIC participants and community members to come to one of the following:
