Free HIV Testing

Our first line HIV test is a rapid finger stick called INSTI. The test is conducted in a confidential setting and takes less than 15 minutes, with results ready in 60 seconds after being tested. You will receive pre and post-test counseling and your results.

Persons who test negative for HIV will receive information on how to better protect themselves from HIV infection with techniques such as using condoms or PrEP. Persons who test positive will be linked to care services and receive information on how to live a long and healthy life with HIV. Our staff will also share information on how to prevent transmitting HIV to others.

Schedule an HIV test or call or text 706-510-8342 or 706-340-0291 for more information.

Linkage To Care

Our linkage to care program connects newly and previously diagnosed individuals living with HIV to medical care and other resources. We serve any individual who is not currently receiving HIV medical care.

If you are an individual, hospital, or another private provider in need of linkage services, please call or text:

706-510-8342—Patrick Reilly, MPH or email: [email protected] -or-

706-340-0291 – Erin Jacobson – or email: [email protected]

to be connected directly with a linkage coordinator.

Condoms and PrEP

When used correctly, condoms are one of the best ways to prevent HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Our district provides FREE condoms to the community in two ways:

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is the use of a once-daily pill that is highly effective in reducing your chance of getting HIV when taken as prescribed.
If you would like to be connected to PrEP services submit a PrEP Referral Request, or call or text 706-510-8342 or 706-340-0291 for more information.
